Emily's sister Joyce came by today at lunchtime. Her daughter, Marcia, came for a visit from Colorado Springs. Apparently flying into Nashville is one of those Southwestern deals that's hard to pass up. So on the way back to Nashville, they detoured through Chattanooga, so that Marcia could have a visit. Emily made a lovely lunch of homemade chicken salad with croissants and fruit, and there were lots of Christmas dessert options. She still had some wonderful homemade cookies as well as some pecan pie. Lynn and Alan joined them for lunch, and Liga stopped by for a quick visit on her way to work.
Emily has an appointment with an army representative tomorrow morning who has helped her file some of the required paperwork regarding Gene's army pension. She had a phone conversation with someone who was trying to tell her what she was still missing. She said they kept saying things like "we have your F52 paper work, but not your SP467". She had no idea what they were talking about, so she's going back to her army representative to have him help her figure out what forms she needs to complete.
