Today Alan and Lynn took Emily to the Salvation Army sunrise service at the National Military Cemetery. The service started at just a bit before 7:30, just as the sun was beginning to peep above Missionary Ridge. It was a nice service and was attended by a fairly large crowd. After the service was over they drove over to visit Gene's grave site. It was a pretty tearful moment. They've done some work on the two rows of graves that are now in place. It looks as though they may be ready to put sod in before long.
Later in the morning Emily went to Sunday School. Lynn and Alan and Valdis and Kailee joined her for Easter Services at First Cumberland Church.
Then later this evening, she went to dinner with Gene's cousin Mia. Mia was entertaining her son's grandparents, Barbara and Sid Glatter, who've come down from New York to take care of Clyde for the week while he's on spring break and she's still working. It was a lovely dinner and a nice opportunity to get to know Clyde's grandparents.
