wednesday... we ate irish oatmeal for breakfast. it was different. i had a big bowl with brown sugar and cream, and even though it was really good, i was full before i finished. emily had a much smaller serving, and joyce had a 'mother-bear portion. it is necessary to chew this kind of oatmeal! we went out to visit the pools before the sun shone upon them, and we stayed about 45 minutes with joyce and emily in the hot tub and frances first in the upper warm pool for exercises and then in the hot tub. when the sun was upon us we went in for showers and shampoos and rolled hair. we are to go out this evening with the mcswains.(they are Lauren's in-laws) aha! i found a capital l! Emily has had her fingernails polished, and Joyce her toenails. Frances came already seen to. We are sufficiently presentable with an invitation to eat at the Bone Fish restaurant. (where Frances will select something from the menu that does not spend a lot of time in water.)
The beauty of our vacation abode is like a picture of Eden! However, we have not encountered any animals other than humankind. We met a very nice gentleman who introduced himself as Kim and said he is a proprietor here. (That's not the word he used). He helped us find our way to the showers and spa in building one, and he told us about a good place to have lunch 'on site'. Perhaps we can do that one day. Today we had simple fare within our own lovely walls.
Emily has been sewing. Joyce has been at computer and kitchen. Frances has been reading. We are all laughing at least once every half hour. We did two loads of laundry, and we will go out again tomorrow with Tina,..lunch and shopping for shoes.
